Had a lovely time! The room was cozy, and I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast cooked to order. The staff shared some of their favorite coffee with me, which felt like a warm gesture. Plus, the outdoor spaces were great for relaxing after a day of exploring nearby attractions like the aviation museum.

central haven for city walks and park visits
Staying here truly enhanced my weekend, as it's just a short stroll from christchurch priory church and the beautiful quomps area, making it super easy to enjoy all the local charm, while the staff were friendly and the food was delicious, adding to a great experience. the only thing was the room wasn't as cozy as I'd hoped, but overall it was a lovely trip.

Had a proper feast at the Fisherman’s Haunt! The breakfast was a real treat—freshly cooked and absolutely packed! After a day roaming, the cozy bar was a welcome spot to unwind with a pint and some cracking pub quiz banter.
The room was a tad noisy with the main road nearby, and our dinner took a bit longer than expected.

I just loved the comfy bed and the tasty pies! It was such a surprise how quiet the room was above the pub, too. I would definitely choose this place again!

This was just a top selection for a mini-break over the weekend in Christchurch with reasonable value. The staff let us take some pastries and fruit for breakfast on our early departure, which was a great touch! Be sure to ask for help with any breakfast arrangements.

I had a comfortable stay with clean, well-appointed rooms and enjoyed a full breakfast that was varied and of high quality. I encountered slow service during meals and some noise disturbances from other guests, which affected my overall experience. Suitable for a quick getaway.

missingWrote a review on Aug 14cosy roomwonderful breakfastpoor sound insulationlimited menunoisy guests
The Deluxe Double Room was cosy, warm, and beautifully decorated, boasting delightful double-aspect windows that provided lovely views. Breakfast was plentiful and well-prepared, particularly the poached eggs, served by attentive staff. sound insulation was lacking, as noise from above disrupted restful sleep, and the limited dinner menu disappointed those seeking variety. the positive experiences outweighed the negatives, making it a worthwhile stay.

Had a blast staying here with my pals! The room was cozy, and we enjoyed exploring the local aviation museum and dining at the amazing restaurant here. The breakfast was a highlight too. Plenty of parking and lovely outdoor spaces made for a great time, especially with our friend's dog joining us.
We had a bit of a wait for our meals during dinner, which was a letdown. It seemed they were understaffed that evening.

missingWrote a review on Aug 04spacious suitehearty breakfastdated decor
The Kingfisher Suite offered plenty of space and amenities, including tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast spread was hearty, with freshly cooked items that truly hit the spot.
The decor felt a bit dated overall, lacking a contemporary touch. Noise disturbances from the nearby road were noticeable at times, which might jar a light sleeper. The dining experience had its hiccups, with a long wait for meals that detracted from the overall enjoyment, and the menu could use more variety, particularly for those with dietary restrictions.

It was just a fine choice for a transient visit in Christchurch with a great value-to-price ratio. The staff kept the tables clean and maintained a good hygiene setup, which I appreciated. Make sure to check if the menu is updated before ordering.
